Liberty Pro Bono Initiative is a civil society organization dedicated to empowering Ugandan communities through legal support, environmental advocacy, and climate justice. Incorporated under the laws of Uganda, we work tirelessly to champion the rights of marginalized groups, promote environmental conservation, and advocate for sustainable development in Uganda.
Our commitment is rooted in justice, equity, and inclusivity, ensuring that every Ugandan has the tools and knowledge to participate in the fight for a sustainable and equitable future.

Objectives
- Legal Empowerment
Provide free legal services (pro bono) to marginalized and vulnerable groups to ensure access to justice for all.
- Environmental Awareness and Action
Sensitize and empower Ugandan citizens to take active roles in environmental restoration, protection, and conservation.
- Climate Change Mitigation
Mobilize and educate Ugandans on the importance of participating in efforts to combat climate change at community, regional, and national levels.
- Promotion of Clean Energy
Advocate for and facilitate the adoption of clean energy solutions across Uganda to promote sustainable energy practices.
- Advancing Just Energy Transition
Promote a fair and inclusive shift from fossil fuels to sustainable and renewable energy sources to ensure equity in Uganda’s energy transition.
- Empowering Women and Youth
Equip women and youth with knowledge, skills, and platforms to advocate for environmental protection and climate justice, fostering leadership and innovation in sustainability efforts.
